The completely natural Saadiyat Public Beach is considered the most beautiful beach in Abu Dhabi and, with fine white sand, turquoise blue sea and the city skyline in the background, it lives up to its ambitious title.
Alongside Corniche Beach and Yas Beach, Saadiyat Public Beach on Saadiyat Island is the third public beach on the Abu Dhabi coast. Saadiyat Public Beach is often referred to as the most beautiful beach in Abu Dhabi, and both locals and holidaymakers appreciate its benefits. The beach is located in the middle of a dune protection zone that stretches along the rest of the 9-kilometre-long Saadiyat Beach.
Up to 60 metres inland, this unspoilt section of Abu Dhabi's coastline is protected so as not to endanger the nesting sites of the endangered hawksbill turtle. Apart from the St. Regis and the Park Hyatt, there are no large hotels along the 400m long public beach.
Tip: Between April and July, you can watch the turtles laying their eggs and the hatchlings. A specially trained team takes great care that the animals are not disturbed on their way out of the sea or back into the water.

The beach is run by the BAKE company, which is meticulous about keeping all the facilities clean and safe and providing the best possible service to guests.
Parasols, sunbeds, toilets, showers and changing rooms are available and towels and lockers can also be rented directly at the beach. Lifeguards are always on site during opening hours and parking facilities are also plentiful with around 200 parking spaces.
Tip: The entrance fee to the beach and the fees for sunbeds and parasols are a few dirhams cheaper during the week than at the weekend.
Activities at Saadiyat Public Beach
Those who have had their fill of the magnificent scenery and have swum enough should also try out the numerous sports and leisure activities offered directly on the beach. Windsurfing and sailing are among the most popular sports on Abu Dhabi's most beautiful beach. A small shop for swimwear and sporting goods quickly provides spare parts when needed.
Another highlight at Saadiyat Beach is beach yoga to activate body and mind. In this paradisiacal setting of palm trees, beach and sea, asanas and meditation come particularly easily.
Refreshments and snacks are offered by the beach café, which, with over 40 tables, has room for around 100 hungry guests. Incidentally, it can also be rented for private events.
