The Parc Phoenix de Nice, a picturesque botanical garden on Nice's waterfront promenade, invites you to relax and enjoy its diverse flora and fauna in the midst of tropical nature.
Located directly on the famous Promenade des Anglais, the 7-hectare garden complex of the Parc Phoenix de Nice stretches out in the old town of Nice. With around 260,000 visitors a year, the Phoenix Park is one of the top 5 tourist attractions in Nice and the surrounding area and is one of our top 10 sights in Nice.
The botanical garden in the south-west of the city opposite the airport was opened in February 1990 and houses around 20 themed gardens.

Plants at Parc Phoenix
In the "Diamant Vert", a 25m high glass house in the centre of Parc Phoenix, around 2, 500 different plant species grow on 7,000 m². The "Green Diamond", one of the highest glass houses in Europe, takes its visitors to 6 different tropical and subtropical climate zones.
On your journey through the park, you pass through an oasis in the Sahara, tropical forests, Mediterranean landscapes and Southeast Asian swamps. On the "island of bygone times" you can even marvel at plant fossils.
Animals at Parc Phoenix
Tropical birds, colourful butterflies, otters, parrots, lemurs and iguanas populate tree ferns and orchid gardens, completing the botanical symphony of scents and colours. Quiet lawns, picnic areas and benches invite you to relax and enjoy, and several playgrounds also provide entertainment for the little ones.
On a charming pond, swans and pelicans make for picturesque photo opportunities - especially in front of the elegant, snow-white façade of the Musée des Arts Asiatiques, one of our best museums in Nice.
Asian Art at Parc Phoenix
The Museum of Asian Art not only features the classical and contemporary art of Asian countries, but also their culture, ethnology and history. It is one of our top 10 museums in Nice.
The modern white marble complex is the only museum building in Europe by the Japanese architect Kenzō Tange, who died in 2005. The fascinating building also has a small bookshop and a tea house, which can be reached via a walkway.
