In the "Diamant Vert", a 25m high glass house in the centre of Parc Phoenix, around 2, 500 different plant species grow on 7,000 m². The "Green Diamond", one of the highest glass houses in Europe, takes its visitors to 6 different tropical and subtropical climate zones.

On your journey through the park, you pass through an oasis in the Sahara, tropical forests, Mediterranean landscapes and Southeast Asian swamps. On the "island of bygone times" you can even marvel at plant fossils.

Tropical birds, colourful butterflies, otters, parrots, lemurs and iguanas populate tree ferns and orchid gardens, completing the botanical symphony of scents and colours. Quiet lawns, picnic areas and benches invite you to relax and enjoy, and several playgrounds also provide entertainment for the little ones.

The modern white marble complex is the only museum building in Europe by the Japanese architect Kenzō Tange, who died in 2005. The fascinating building also has a small bookshop and a tea house, which can be reached via a walkway.
